The Pitcairn Museum for Contemporary Art would like to offer a platform to artists from home and abroad. The museum in the center of Groningen is open to visitors seven days a week, twenty-four hours a day. Due to its scale, the visitor cannot physically move through the space, but can imagine being in it. Comparable to looking at a model or diorama. Each exhibition is specially created for the museum and therefore unique. The museum is therefore, as it were, a test model. The Pitcairn is a small museum for big ideas.
